Frase.io Tutorial 2026: From Keyword to Published Article in 30 Minutes

Most SEO tutorials teach you theory. This one is a live walkthrough of my actual process using Frase.io to go from a target keyword to a published, optimized article in 30 minutes.

The Setup

Before Frase, my process was:

Google the keyword manually
Open 5-10 competing pages
Take notes on their structure
Write an outline
Hope I covered everything important

Total time: 45-60 minutes of research before writing.

With Frase, steps 1-4 take 90 seconds.

Step 1: Enter Your Keyword (30 Seconds)

Open Frase → New Document → Enter your target keyword.

Frase immediately analyzes the top 20 ranking pages for that keyword.

You get: headings, word counts, common terms, questions from People Also Ask.

Step 2: Review the AI-Generated Brief (2 Minutes)

Frase generates a content brief based on what is actually ranking. The brief includes:

Suggested H2 headers (taken from what top pages actually use)
Word count target (based on ranking content length)
Key terms to include (appearing across multiple top pages)
Questions to answer (from PAA boxes)
Links to reference (top pages you should cite)

This brief is not perfect — you still use judgment. But it is a massive head start.

Step 3: Write Against the Brief (20-25 Minutes)

I write directly in Frase using the AI assistant for first drafts, then edit heavily. My workflow:

Take the brief headers as my outline
Write one section at a time
Use the AI for paragraph expansion when stuck
Edit AI output — never publish raw

Step 4: Publish and Track (1 Minute)

Publish to your site, then:

Add to Google Search Console
Monitor ranking for 2-4 weeks
