From a supplier or Canadian 3PL's perspective, it's a different conversation entirely.
Here's what matters: Albertsons is a major US retailer, and their distribution network pulls produce from North American suppliers, including Canadian growers and importers who route through Montreal and other Canadian ports. When Albertsons tightens quality inspection gates with AI-assisted speed, two things happen immediately. First, rejection rates on marginal or improperly stored product spike.
