If you are building algorithmic execution models for Bitcoin, you already know the pain of latency. The moment you rely on polling a standard Bitcoin Core RPC, you have lost the race.
The Bottleneck
Standard nodes are built for consensus and safety, not speed. When a transaction enters the mempool, the node validates it, indexes it, and writes it to disk. By the time your Python script polls the RPC and receives the JSON, proprietary trading desks with direct network access have already executed their trades.
The Bare-Metal Solution
To compete with enterprise Blockchain Distribution Networks (BDNs), you have to bypass the RPC entirely.
For the Mempool Oracle project https://www.mempool-alpha-oracle.com, I built a bare-metal C-engine that connects directly to the P2P mesh network. Instead of waiting for a node to process the block, the engine initiates concurrent TCP sockets and subscribes directly to the inv (inventory) firehose.
By resolving complex Child-Pays-For-Parent (CPFP) chains and RBF (Replace-By-Fee) bumps entirely in RAM using highly optimized memory mapping, the engine achieves instantaneous processing without ever touching a disk drive.
The Delivery
You cannot serve this data via standard REST APIs or WebSockets without introducing overhead. The most efficient transport layer is stateless HTTPS Server-Sent Events (SSE). It allows the client to listen passively, pushing payloads (like fee velocity and mempool shock scores) the exact millisecond the C-engine registers them.
